POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Programs Director oversees the programs portfolio that are offered through its offices in Cairo and Alexandria and through its network of partner institutions located throughout the country.

This portfolio features programs, courses and services in the following areas: English language training, test preparation, standardized testing, workforce development, scholarships and exchanges, and entrepreneurship. S/he assists with the overall management of the office and with the development and execution of its annual plans and budget in close collaboration with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.

The Programs Director works closely with the CD and others on ensuring that Amideast program departments adhere to efficient project management practices and that programs and services are well planned and executed in line with the organization’s quality standards. S/he will be responsible for developing program implementation strategies to ensure that offerings are innovative, result-oriented, and financially applicable, as well as in line with Amideast best practices.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The incumbent in this position will work in a professional office environment with up to 10% business travel as may be needed to support project implementation.
