Amideast seeks professional English Language Instructors in Balqaa, Ma’an, Aqaba, Jerash, Irbid, Ajloun, Madaba, Karak, Zarqa, Mafraq, and Tafilla to deliver high-quality, English language courses using the PCELT/ CELTA/ TESOL best teaching practices. Instructors deliver classroom-based lessons, assess student progress, and maintain required documentation in accordance with program standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver English language instruction based on the approved ELT curriculum in reading, writing, listening, and speaking
- Prepare and execute lesson plans tailored to student needs, proficiency levels, and course goals
- Follow pre-set course outline
- Assign, evaluate, and provide feedback on homework, quizzes, and assessments
- Assess students through formative and summative methods
- Track, document, and report on student attendance, performance, and academic progress in required student records
- Provide feedback, academic counseling, and remedial support to students needing additional instruction
- Participate in instructor meetings, professional development, and reporting as directed
- Design and adapt supplementary instructional materials as needed to support curriculum and learning outcomes
- Apply sound ESL/EFL methodology to support student development in reading, writing, listening, and speaking, and preparing them for required English proficiency testing and progression standards.
Required Qualifications
- Native or near-native proficiency in English, with strong spoken and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in TESOL, ESL/EFL, Linguistics, English, Education, or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years of experience delivering English language instruction to adult learners across CEFR levels A1–C2
- TESL, TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent internationally recognized English language teaching certification, or a minimum of 10 years of documented EFL teaching experience
- Demonstrated ability to plan lessons, manage classrooms, and assess adult learners at varying proficiency levels
- Ability to work effectively in a structured, performance-driven training environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and reporting
- Flexibility, professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, and commitment to program objectives
- Familiarity with standardized testing, test preparation, and performance-based assessment
