Role Summary: 

 

The American Corner Alexandria is seeking a qualified and dynamic  Entrepreneurship & Capacity Building Trainer  to lead a continuous learning program. The goal is to provide participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to navigate the business landscape. 

 

Objectives: 

 

The goal of this consultancy is to deliver high-impact workshops that serve two distinct tracks: 

 
  1. Entrepreneurship Track: Empowering aspiring founders and current small business owners to scale their ideas and drive change. 

 

  1. Capacity Building Track: Equipping young professionals with the "essential skills" needed to succeed in a competitive, modern job market. 

 

 

  

Responsibilities:  

 
  • Designing and delivering sessions for aspiring entrepreneurs, startup founders, and small business owners. 

  • Train participants on Entrepreneurship related topics; that may include the following along with additional topics related, but not limited to 

- Business Model Canvas (BMC) development. 

- Pitching and storytelling for investors. 

-  Driving innovation within existing startups (Intrapreneurship). 

- Basic financial literacy and scaling strategies. 

 

 
  • Designing and delivering Capacity Building sessions for Students, recent graduates, and job seekers. Topics may include, but are not limited to:  

 

- Critical thinking and creative problem-solving. 

-  Professional branding and digital presence. 

-  Adaptability in the "future of work" and competitive job markets. 

- Effective communication and team collaboration. 

 

 
  • Work with participants to improve their knowledge to apply the information delivered in completing tasks, activities, and assignments.  

  • Use modern engaging methodology to deliver the material, incorporating additional supplemental material such as videos, game-based activities, audio scripts, articles, case studies, etc. 

  • Adapt material if needed in collaboration with Amideast to meet audience profiles and expectations. 

  • Follow Amideast instructional plan and ensure that the materials used meet Amideast standards. 

 

 

 

Requirements: 

 
    • Methodology:  Must utilize Adult Learning Principles (Andragogy)—focusing on interactive, hands-on activities rather than just lecture-style presentations. 
    • Adaptability: Proven ability to tailor content for different seniority levels (from interns to executive management). 

 

Deliverables:  

 
    • Applicants to this role are required to submit a technical proposal with the suggested topics to be delivered 
    • Delivering the training of the proposed sessions within the given number of hours.
