POSITION DESCRIPTION
Amideast/Tunisia seeks English-speaking university graduates, with TEFL certification and relevant teaching experience to join our exceptional team of English Language Instructors. Our English Language Instructors utilize learner-centric methods to provide instruction in General English, Business English, Test Preparation, and English for Specific Purposes (Medical, Legal, Aviation, etc.) to classes of 12-16 students. Amideast provides English Language training to young learners and adults alike, as well as customized off-site classes to a variety of corporate and institutional clients. Our public and contract courses run year-round, with peak periods in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
Instructors will be remunerated on an hourly basis. Instructors must therefore be set up as self-employed and hold their own tax identification number or be employed with a Tunisian Education Ministry and have permission from their employer to work with Amideast.
This position includes primarily weekday and weekend instruction for youth where Amideast offers public English courses. Additional hours on and offsite, for youth and adult clients, may be available upon course demand (based on enrollment numbers).
