POSITION DESCRIPTION

The position involves developing and implementing media and communication strategies to enhance Amideast’s presence and impact in Lebanon. The role focuses on creating and executing effective media action plans, managing relationships with various media outlets, and promoting Amideast’s programs through diverse channels, including social media and traditional media. Responsibilities also include producing and distributing promotional materials, coordinating community-based activities, and supporting marketing efforts to increase customer awareness of Amideast’s services. Additionally, the role involves managing alumni relations, leading sales and marketing efforts for fee-based services, and monitoring marketing performance. The individual will work closely with various departments to ensure optimal marketing and outreach of Amideast’s offerings, maintaining a strong brand presence, expanding clientele, and providing excellent customer service. The position also includes contributing to team efforts and ensuring a safe and professional working environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develops and implements media strategy to showcase impact of Amideast's work in Lebanon
• Manages the use of communication tools effectively and efficiently
• Coordinates the production and distribution of promotional materials to ensure they are effective and timely
• Supports marketing efforts to raise customer awareness about all programs and services
• Establishes and maintains relations with diverse program alumni to keep them engaged in our work and initiatives
• Leads sales and marketing efforts for fee-based services in English, Training, and Testing departments to achieve growth
• Sells fee-based services to increase Amideast impact and revenues
• Monitors marketing performance to better assess results generated by different tools and strategies
• Improves the range of services being offered
• Ensures that Amideast remains competitive
• Expands Amideast's clientele
• Serves as key liaison with Advisory Board members to maintain and enhance the image of Amideast
• Provides friendly customer service, maintains customer confidence, and enhances the image of Amideast
• Contributes to team effort to ensure all Amideast goals are met
• Contributes to ensuring a safe and professional working environment for staff, customers, and visitors
• Other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communication, Social Media, or related field
• At least 3 to 5 years professional experience
• Fluency in Arabic, English; proficiency in French preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
