POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Director of Knowledge Management is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing knowledge management strategies, structures, and best practices across Amideast’s global operations and programs.  This position will play an instrumental role in shaping and driving Amideast’s organizational approach to knowledge management and promoting a culture of continuous collaboration and innovation. The Director of Knowledge Management will lead the development of a knowledge management strategy to include digital tools, staff training, and policies to establish and to maintain an organization-wide knowledge management system.

The knowledge management system will include data from across Amideast’s various business lines, including client- or donor-funded projects, fee-for-service activities, and advancement activities. The position will collaborate across Amideast teams, including in close development with Monitoring and Evaluation and Information Technology staff to ensure effective data gathering and systems management.

The Director of Knowledge Management will also work to ensure that knowledge assets feature the integration of customer data that will be captured in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application, and thereby derive valuable insights from knowledge of customers to drive business growth.

Range between $100,000 and $140,000 per year (payable bi-weekly)

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The incumbent in this position will work in a professional office environment and will utilize the following equipment when working from the corporate office or remote home office (on a hybrid basis).

Up to 5% business travel may be needed to support knowledge management practices as needed.
