POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Manager of Business Innovation will be based full-time in the MENA region and travel frequently (up to 50% of his/her time) to Amideast country offices and other countries in the region to support and expand Amideast’s fee-for-service business in the education, training, and testing sectors. Working closely with HQ senior staff in Washington, DC and individual country offices, the incumbent will develop and execute targeted marketing plans to expand Amideast’s proprietary fee-for-service client base, including, but not limited to, corporations, host government institutions, universities, schools, and individuals. The incumbent will work closely with program staff at HQ and in the field to co-develop new products and services to adapt to a changing marketplace. The incumbent will also work closely with the Communications team to design a strategy for digital marketing metrics to measure the success of campaigns and the associated ROI.
The incumbent will develop and maintain relationships with key contacts throughout the MENA region, assist country directors and their teams in identifying new clients, as well as increasing follow-on business with existing and/or recent clients. An emphasis will be placed on developing privately funded large-scale programs.
Reporting directly to the Headquarters Vice President for Business Development, the successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the MENA region, proven experience marketing in Amideast’s core service areas, and verbal and written fluency in Arabic and English; a working proficiency in French is also desired.
