POSITION DESCRIPTION

The?American Corner Alexandria?is?seeking?a qualified and dynamic Creative Media & Artistic Professional Skills Trainer to lead a continuous learning program. The goal is to design, develop, and deliver a comprehensive training program focused on modern creative media and artistic professional skills. The trainer will equip participants with the technical proficiency and storytelling capabilities required to excel in the digital economy and creative industries 

 

Tasks and Responsibilities: 

 

Tasks and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following: 

Responsibilities:  

 
    • The trainer will be responsible for designing and delivering high-impact, hands-on workshops in modern creative media and artistic professional skills such as podcasting, content creation, graphic designing, videography, sound editing, cinematography, ... etc. 
    •  Mentorship & Critique: Work with participants to improve their knowledge to apply the information delivered in completing tasks, activities, and assignments. 
    •  Interactive Delivery: Use modern engaging methodology to deliver the material, incorporatingadditional supplemental material such as videos, game-based activities, audio scripts, articles, case studies, etc.
    •  Adapt material if needed in collaboration with Amideast to meet audience profiles and expectations.
    • Follow Amideast instructional plan and ensure that the materials used meet Amideast standards. 
 

 

Potential Training Topics 

 

The trainer should be prepared to deliver modules including, but not limited to: 

 
  • Podcasting & Audio Storytelling: Introduction to podcast formats, scriptwriting, and vocal performance 

  • Videography & Cinematography: Cinematic storytelling: Storyboarding, shot listing, and visual pacing. 

  • Content Creation & Digital Strategy: Trends analysis, audience engagement techniques, and brand voice consistency. 

  • Graphic Design & Visual Identity:  

    • Principles of design: Typography, colour theory, and layout hierarchy. 
    • Tool proficiency: Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop/Illustrator) or high-level Canva for teams. 
 

 

 

Requirements: 

 
  • Methodology: Must utilize Adult Learning Principles (Andragogy)—focusing on interactive, hands-on activities rather than just lecture-style presentations. 

  • Adaptability: Proven ability to tailor content for different seniority levels (from interns to executive management).
