POSITION DESCRIPTION

The?American Corner Alexandria?is?seeking?a qualified and dynamic  AI Literacy & Productivity Skills Trainer to lead a continuous learning program. The goal is to demystify Artificial Intelligence (AI) and provide participants with a foundational understanding of Generative AI tools. The trainer will focus on practical applications that enhance professional productivity, creative problem-solving, and responsible AI usage in the modern workplace.

 

Tasks and Responsibilities: 

 

Tasks and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following: 

Responsibilities:  

 
  1. The trainer will be responsible for delivering introductory, hands-on modules in the following areas: 

  •  

  • Foundations of Generative AI: 

  • Overview of the current AI landscape (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Copilot).

  •  

  • Identifying "hallucinations" and the importance of human-in-the-loop verification.

  •  

  • Prompt Engineering Mastery: 

  • The anatomy of a perfect prompt: Context, Task, Constraints, and Persona.

  •  

  • AI for Professional Productivity: 

  • Automating administrative tasks: Drafting emails, summarizing long documents, and meeting transcription.

  •  

  • Project management and brainstorming: Using AI for SWOT analysis, content calendars, and strategic planning.

  • Introduction to AI-powered research and data synthesis. 

  •  

  • Visual & Creative AI (Introductory): 

  • Introduction to text-to-image tools (e.g., Canva Magic Media, Midjourney, or DALL-E). 

  • Using AI for presentation design and visual storytelling.

  •   

  • Ethics, Privacy & Future Trends: 

  • The ethics of AI: Addressing bias, copyright concerns, and academic/professional integrity. 

  • Data privacy: Best practices for protecting sensitive organizational data when using AI. 

  • The future of work: How to stay "AI-resilient" in a changing job market. 

 
  1. The trainer is also required to  

 

 

      • Work with participants to improve their knowledge to apply the information delivered in completing tasks, activities, and assignments. 
    •  

      • Use modern engaging methodology to deliver the material, incorporating additional supplemental material such as videos, game-based activities, audio scripts, articles, case studies, etc. 
      • Adapt material if needed in collaboration with Amideast to meet audience profiles and expectations. 
      • Follow Amideast instructional plan and ensure that the materials used meet Amideast standards.

    Requirements: 

     
    • Methodology:

    • Must utilize Adult Learning Principles (Andragogy)—focusing on interactive, hands-on activities rather than just lecture-style presentations. 

    • Adaptability: Proven ability to tailor content for different seniority levels (from interns to executive management).

     

     

    Deliverables:
