POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Amideast seeks a highly motivated individual to join the testing team and provide testing services. The Test Center Administrator works in a professional Test Center setting and ensures the integrity of our testing services by proctoring and controlling the test center environment. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete mandatory TCA training, which includes trainings and certification exams as required
  • Greet examinees and verify identification
  • Register and prepare candidate information on the Roster/Score Card
  • When applicable, collect candidate’s biometric information (collect fingerprints)
  • Monitor candidates as they complete their exam
  • Resolve candidate issues and technical issues or report them to the appropriate supervisor
  • Protect security of all computer software in Test Center environment
  • Reboot computer servers and reset passwords when necessary
  • Other responsibilities include proctoring off-site testing
  • Count and monitor all test materials, as outlined in the Test Manual
  • Manage any incidents of candidate misconduct or other disruptions to testing, with Amideast guidance
  • Customer service and front desk support

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Required

  • Bilingual (Arabic and English)
  • Minimum Educational level: High school Diploma
  • Communicate effectively with the public from a position of authority
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as operational and maintenance instructions
  • Ability to submit detailed reports and correspondence
  • Ability to multitask and handle small tools, pack equipment for shipping or unpack for installation
  • Capable of lifting 25 pounds
  • Exposure to Microsoft Windows-based computer applications
  • Visual requirements include the ability to adjust or focus computer screens and view testing room while proctoring
  • Hard worker and motivated
  • Excellent communication, Interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Customer service oriented
  • Leadership and supervisory skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent teamwork spirit
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Able to maintain professional demeanor and appearance
  • Flexibility to travel to other Emirates to conduct proctoring sessions
  • Flexible during days and evenings on various days and times subject to change according to demand of testing schedule

Preferred

  • One to two years customer service-related experience required
  • UAE driving license with own car
  • Bachelor’s degree

Up to 40% business travel may be needed to support test sessions as needed.
