POSITION DESCRIPTION
Amideast seeks a highly motivated individual who is willing to join the testing team and provide service on an as needed, hourly basis. The Test Center Administrator/Proctor will oversee test administrations at locations throughout the UAE under the guidance of the Test Center Manager and a Test Center Supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • All TCAs must complete mandatory TCA training, which includes trainings and a certification quiz
  • Read and understand all test administration manuals
  • Execute duties as outlined in the above manuals, with particular emphasis on test security
  • Manage test candidates from arrival through dismissal, including check-in
  • Actively monitor test candidates throughout the session
  • Conduct various test security measures during the test session
  • Count and monitor all test materials, as outlined in the administration manual
  • Manage any incidents of candidate misconduct or other disruptions to testing, with Amideast guidance

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Required

  • All TCAs must complete mandatory TCA training, which includes trainings and a certification quiz
  • Bilingual (Arabic and English)
  • Minimum Educational level: High school Diploma
  • Read and understand all test administration manuals
  • Execute duties as outlined in the above manuals, with particular emphasis on test security
  • Manage test candidates from arrival through dismissal, including check-in
  • Actively monitor test candidates throughout the session
  • Conduct various test security measures during the test session
  • Count and monitor all test materials, as outlined in the administration manual
  • Manage any incidents of candidate misconduct or other disruptions to testing, with Amideast guidance
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Flexibility to travel throughout the UAE on various days and times—schedule will change depending on needs 

Preferred

  • One to two years customer service-related experience required
  • UAE driving license with own car
  • Bachelor’s degree

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The incumbent in this position will work in a professional office environment and will utilize the following equipment when working from the corporate office.

  • Computer (laptop or desktop)
  • Printer/Photocopier/Scanner/Fax
  • Telephone

Up to 40% business travel may be needed to support test sessions as needed.
