The Sawiris Distinction Scholarship offers high-potential Egyptian students access to premium quality education at local public and private universities in Egypt. Amideast understands that the overall success of the scholarship depends entirely on the success of the students in their respective educational programs and universities. One program requirement is for the students to maintain high academic records throughout their studies. Job  Country Director
The Country Director will serve as Amideast’s senior representative in country, fostering positive relationships with host country government officials, key clients, partners, and donors; and overseeing the delivery of all Amideast’s programs and services to ensure consistency, quality, and a focus on client requirements. The incumbent will be responsible for managing all aspects of operations for Amideast in country, sustaining the existing program portfolio, and determining a strategy for the expansion of offerings and activities. The incumbent must be an assertive initiative-taker who possesses strong diplomatic and entrepreneurial skills. Overall responsibilities for this position entail managing office operations, ensuring the financial integrity of the field office, recruiting and training staff, and developing a diverse portfolio of programs and services which includes educational advising and testing services for students and professionals, scholarship and exchange program services for a variety of sponsors, institutional capacity building initiatives, and professional training services, including basic management skills, workforce development skills, English language courses, and test preparation programs. Job  CSR for Online Operations
The CSR for Online Operations is responsible for the management of all online interactions with customers wishing to enroll in English Language classes, take an exam, or obtain information about various scholarship and exchange programs. This includes managing online registrations and payment, registering students in ProClass and LMS platforms, archiving data from the Learning Management System, and liaising with Finance, Communications, and other departments to ensure all information and policies are clear and up to date. Job  Instructor- English Language Teacher
Amideast Tunisia seeks English-speaking university graduates, with TEFL certification and relevant teaching experience to join our exceptional team of English Language Instructors. Our English Language Instructors utilize learner-centric methods to provide instruction in General English, Business English, Test Preparation, and English for Specific Purposes (Medical, Legal, Aviation, etc.) to classes of 12-16 students. Amideast provides English Language training to young learners and adults alike, as well as customized off-site classes to a variety of corporate and institutional clients. Our public and contract courses run year-round, with peak periods in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Instructors will be remunerated on an hourly basis. Instructors must therefore be set up as self-employed and hold their own tax identification number or be employed with a Tunisian Education Ministry and have permission from their employer to work with Amideast. This position includes primarily weekday and weekend instruction for youth at Amideast's office in Sousse, as well as offsite trainings in Sfax, Monastir, and/or Mahdia.
