Job  Academic Advisor (Egypt)
The Sawiris Distinction Scholarship offers high-potential Egyptian students access to premium quality education at local public and private universities in Egypt. Amideast understands that the overall success of the scholarship depends entirely on the success of the students in their respective educational programs and universities. One program requirement is for the students to maintain high academic records throughout their studies. The Academic Advisor will be responsible for monitoring the scholarship students’ academic performance and progress and assisting students with their growth that impacts their overall academic and programmatic success. S/he will act as the focal point with the students and the academic advisors at the partner universities and will be responsible for providing the full academic support to the students and addressing any challenges they face.

Job  Communications Assistant, Fulbright

Job  Country Director (MENA Region)
The Country Director will serve as Amideast’s senior representative in country, fostering positive relationships with host country government officials, key clients, partners, and donors; and overseeing the delivery of all Amideast’s programs and services to ensure consistency, quality, and a focus on client requirements. The incumbent will be responsible for managing all aspects of operations for Amideast in country, sustaining the existing program portfolio, and determining a strategy for the expansion of offerings and activities. The incumbent must be an assertive initiative-taker who possesses strong diplomatic and entrepreneurial skills. Overall responsibilities for this position entail managing office operations, ensuring the financial integrity of the field office, recruiting and training staff, and developing a diverse portfolio of programs and services which includes educational advising and testing services for students and professionals, scholarship and exchange program services for a variety of sponsors, institutional capacity building initiatives, and professional training services, including basic management skills, workforce development skills, English language courses, and test preparation programs. The Program Manager is a key team member of Amideast/UAE and is responsible for the day-to-day management of all grant-funded and sponsored education, training, and professional development programs and activities featured in the program portfolio.
